Who can know the infinite, all-powerful God of creation?  How can fallen man have a relationship with a Being that is so high, mighty, exalted, pure, and righteous?  How can man, who is unjust, unfit, and unregenerate be in good standing with a God who is supremely holy? The answer: through the Son of God.

The great hope of history was revealed in that moment when El-Shaddai, Elohim, Jehovah, Adonai, the great God of glory dwelled among us.  Christ Jesus, the Son of God came to this earth to encounter the human experience in all of its grief, sin, and shame.  Yes, in all ways, Jesus was a man, born of woman.  He walked as men walked.  He ate as men ate.  He cried as men cried.  He slept as men slept.  Completely, totally and in every way, Jesus was man.

But what differentiates Jesus Christ from all other men in history is that He is also God! As the Son of God, Jesus came from God.  He is the only begotten Son of God.  He is from the Father.  Jesus was completely man and Jesus was completely God.  Who else, then, could join unholy man with supremely holy God, but the Son of God?  He has the power to forgive sins.  He has the authority to redeem souls.  Those who turn to Christ, therefore, can find God.  For in finding the Son you have found the Father.
