There was a man in the Old Testament who loved taking walks with God-his name was Enoch.  He indeed was a man of faith; and because of his faith, he escaped death.  The writer of Hebrews said that “By faith, Enoch was translated that he should not see death” (Hebrews 11:5).  One preacher said it like this, “One day Enoch was walking with God, and God invited Enoch to spend the rest of the day at His house.”
Walking daily with God is crucial to the development of our faith.  Though it seems simple in theory, it is challenging in reality.  What does it really mean to walk with God? It means:
buy provigil in the uk 1. Walking on the Same Path.  In order to walk with God you must be with God.  You must be on the same path with God going in the same direction as God.  Ask yourself, “Have I been walking?”
2. Walking at the Same Pace. Walking with God also means being in stride with God.  This speaks of our fellowship with God. Oftentimes we get ahead of Him or lag behind Him.  Getting out of step causes us to get off pace, getting disconnected.  Ask yourself, “How have I been walking?”
3. Walking to the Same Place. Walking with Him means we are in a certain direction going to a certain destination.  He knows the way Home, so keep in step with the Master. Ask yourself, “Where am I walking?”
